The downside to this is that you cannot charge your Wiimotes with the skins on. I like the skins, as they keep the controllers clean. So, personally, we will be using the removable rechargeable AA batteries for that very reason. But, many players like the idea of being able to just plug the Wiimotes back into the charger stand when play is done -- no replacing batteries, and if enough time has passed you have fully charged Wiimotes next time you are ready to play again.
